I absolutely loved this series. It was short and to the point with a little mystery and anticipation to go along with it.

Kaitlynn finally runs away from abusive Greg and her 15 year marriage. She's had enough. She escapes to a small mountain town where she buys a small home and her parents help her fix it up. In town while at the diner, an extremely sexy guy keeps staring at her. When he helps her on the road ,and gives her his name Ian, even in his rudeness,she realizes he's her high school crush. Before she started dating the guy she married, Greg, his best friend. Kaitlynn thought Ian just wasn't in to her. Now Ian seems interested and she SURE is interested! They get to spend an amazing night together but guess who comes knocking and royally screws things up???? Total cliffhanger and I hope Kaitlynn will be okay?!?! Greg does punch her but Kaitlynn stands up to him and she calls 911 in her new town. Greg leaves but he threatens her. No communication from Ian has Kaitlynn going to town pretending to be looking for him as a friend at the diner. The lady at the diner is feeding Duke while Ian is gone but since Kaitlynn is a high school friend she asks if she would mind feeding Duke. So armed with directions Kaitlynn drives to Ian's gorgeous log and stone home and workshop, feeds Duke and looks around at Ian's beautiful handmade furniture. Ian arrives home. He agrees to listen and finds out the Kaitlynn is NOT still married to Greg. They start seeing each other happily. Then another bomb is dropped with provides further proof of what an a-- Greg always was but also doesn't present Ian in too good of a light. It breaks Kaitlynn 's heart again and she leaves town to head to her parents' home. But Ian will not give up his soulmate!! Will he succeed in getting her back? Will he redeem himself? What horrible trick will Greg attempt to tear them apart and will he succeed? You have to read this sexy book with the hit, hot, hot, sex scenes that will melt your ereader!! Enjoy!
