Bad Men: A novelette

Danny knows the bush better than any man alive. He's spent fifteen years learning its secrets, surviving what it throws at him, mastering the wild the rest of the world was too afraid to enter.

He never expected to need those skills to save his children from Bad Men.

When armed strangers storm his town, Danny has one choice — lead his kids, their terrified classmates, and one young teacher twenty miles through hostile bush to safety. Between them and home lie predators of every kind. The worst of them walk on two legs.

Bad Men is a raw, relentless thriller about the lengths a father will go to protect what's his — and the man he's forced to become to do it.

A novelette of approximately 15,000 words.
