Gold Fever

As men seek to tame the Canadian wilds, three brothers strike gold in the Nahanni valley but they and those who follow fail to return. When their bodies are found, one detail is clear. Each of their heads is missing...

Stephen King meets Andy McNab in this thriller as Special Forces soldiers are hunted through the Canadian wilderness.

Fresh from the war in Europe, Liam Stryker is bored and desperate for action. Soon, he and his comrades are catapulted into the Canadian wilderness in search of gold and adventure.

But the Nahanni river is ancient and its rushing depths hide more than just metal. The cautionary tales of those who came before weigh heavily on them.

As the land begins to surrender its bounty, Liam and his friends realise that the legends are more than just stories. But other forces are at play and soon the clash of modern weapons and an ancient secret dull the gleaming of gold.

In this pulse pounding tale of greed, bravery and terror, the Nahanni Valley becomes a crucible where the boundaries between reality and myth blur, and the true price of fortune is measured in blood.
