After a series of brutal murders rocks Gotham City, Batman begins to realize that perhaps these crimes go far deeper than appearances suggest. As the Caped Crusader begins to unravel this deadly mystery, he discovers a conspiracy going back to his youth and beyond to the origins of the city he's sworn to protect. Could the Court of Owls, once thought to be nothing more than an urban legend, be behind the crime and corruption? Or is Bruce Wayne losing his grip on sanity and falling prey to the pressures of his war on crime?

So good
I loved this comic and I loved vol 2 as well , so I decided to buy the entire 10 volumes. It’s about this court of owls, and they’re composed of extremely wealthy and powerful families that dates back to hundred of years without the knowing of Bruce. That’s where the story develops, and definitely Bruce underestimated his enemies. Might turn out definitely in the top ten of most vicious villains of Batma

My first comic book in decades. Enjoyed it. Might get the rest of the volumes.
One complaint, that has nothing to do with story or art direction. out of 180 pages I paid for, there’s a large number of filler stuff. Repeats of the previous page in black and white? How about we lower the price and get rid of the excess? That would be nice.
