Ryan writes with refreshing insight about people navigating the maze of adult responsibilities, bringing major authenticity to everything from the grief process to the challenges of handling a willful 13-year-old daughter. As an added treat, Ryan includes a few recipes for the mouthwatering dishes referenced throughout the book. This book gave us all the feels.

Excellent story, Ms. Ryan. This book has so much and you feel it with the characters if you’ve experienced any or all of what they’re gone through. It was an excellent book even when the feelings were too big.
