Secrets emerge and romance sparks in this irresistible suburban romance from the USA Today bestselling author Kennedy Ryan.
The man she can never have . . .
Kerris Moreton should be the happiest woman in the world: She has a successful business and is about to start the family she's always wanted. But the man of her dreams-the one whose green eyes see straight into her soul and whose gentle hands make her body hum with pleasure-is not hers.
Each secret moment with Walsh Bennett serves to remind Kerris of what she's missing. And every stolen hour makes it harder to see her future without him. But being with Walsh would betray a sacred promise and upend her perfect life. When tragedy strikes, the razor's edge between love and loyalty grows sharper than ever. And Kerris must decide where her heart will fall . . .
Don't miss the first installment in The Bennett's Series...When You Are Mine.

Good
I enjoyed it.
Bronzeville Book Diva
This book was written well. Extremely engaging with the struggles of being in love with your soul mate while she’s married to your best friend. Having to overcome choosing your happiness versus betraying your friend.
Loving is not the problem
This is the 2nd book in The Bennetts series. It continues with the lives of Kerris and Walsh and how they are doing - apart. They have decided it is better to live different lives since Walsh cannot watch her have a baby and be happily married to his best friend.
Neither one of them functioning well without the other, their lives showing the strain. Cam is on Kerris all the time about what he thinks she is thinking and doing. Their marriage is basically over. Now Cam is going to Paris, drinking, and moving on.
Walsh knows if he is anywhere near her he will challenge Cam and make a move on Kerris. So he stays away. Travelling the globe and trying to heal along with his dad. They both lost the loves of their lives and do not want to be home.
When tragedy strikes, it all hits the fan and anyway. Walsh comes home, even for a short time. How much more can he take before he implodes or explodes in a big way?
This book is a better story if you have read the girst book in The Bennetts series. It can be read as a stand alone - but I promise - it is worth it to read in a row. I cannot believe I survived the ups and downs these characters are going through. I also love the story and the people too much to give up now. Cannot wait for the next one!
