Best Friend
I have read this author in the past. Never disappointed with her books and this one was no exception. However with this book she kept me on tether hooks. I became very concerned about how it was going to end because it didn’t feel promising. But if you have read this author before and have enjoyed her books, and most certainly if you haven’t, I recommend that you do.
It’s just ok to me
I must admit that I never quite connected with the main characters. I was ok with Samantha, but actively disliked Lonny. I thought he was totally self absorbed & offered little to their friendship. He used her. As the book progressed, I liked her less & gradually worked up to mild dislike for him. Plus, I found myself many times skipping through some paragraphs because they were just so tedious. I hate buying books & not finishing them so I persevered. I was glad to reach the last page.
