Publisher Description
Summer had returned. The nightlife lit up the coastal town of Sea Breeze, Alabama with scantily clad sun-kissed bodies, live music, the smell of fresh cooked seafood.
Taking it all in, he wondered if coming back had been the best thing. He wasn’t the same man who had driven out of town a year ago on the motorcycle he’d bought after his best friend’s wedding. From the messy blonde curls he’d let grow out, to the tattoos now covering his arms, part of his chest and even the side of his neck, it all represented a part of his journey.
Eli Hardy was back, but he didn’t plan on staying for long.

Fantastic Read!
This was my first read by Abbi Glines and it makes me want to run out and find all of her other books. This book definitely made you feel. It made you hurt. It made you want. It made you smile. It made you love. It has all of the feels.
Eli is definitely a complex character. I love how his character was written and how his story was told. He was damaged. All the good male main characters are!
Ophelia is another character all of herself. I found myself liking her but then not liking her. It all depended on the scene - but I liked her for most of the book. She had good interesting qualities but fell in the trap of needing Eli.
The writing was captivating. The story line flowed very well and the dialogue felt natural, for the most part. The whole thing was fluid throughout the book.
I’m going to have to find more of her work! This really was a great read! I kept finding little bits of time to read when I wasn’t able to sit down and read because it was that good!
It’s fluffy
I love a good story that gives your heart the flutters an the smiles. Eli was the kinda bad boy I love. The one that’s moody an thinks his choices are the best ones in the world. While Ophelia was smart an resistant. I love a strong leading lady that can lead a man home. So if your looking for a light hearted nice an warm wrapped up nicely with a bow story, this is it. Small town. Big love an good family. It was a good read it could have been better with him chasing her but I liked that she chased him. Sometimes men do needs to know we willing to fight for them.
Great read
This story kept me on the rooting for Eli and Ophelia to find their way. Would love to see where Phoenix story would go! Just a thought.
