Publisher Description
Sometimes the actions are worth the consequences.
I was never supposed to go to the Between. I was never supposed to fall in love with Caius. And yet, I've done both. Since stepping through that portal, I've done a lot of things I never thought I would.
Like coming face-to-face with a god. Or encountering the one person in all the worlds I didn't want to meet. Or having a fairy floor me with just a few words and realizing things are a lot more complicated than just stopping the Lost.
Everything is changing, secrets are revealed, and something that shouldn't even be possible has become reality. I never imagined any of this could happen. My imagination was clearly lacking.

Phenomenal
You know how you find a book series that has you so hyped up for the next one?! This is that series! I stumbled upon Trosper and I have to say that I am glad I did. I love her writing style. The flow of the story moves so effortlessly that before you even realize it you’ve reached the end. There’s just the right amount of romance, steam, action, and humor. I loved the plot twist and can’t wait to see how it plays out in the long run.
Caius is the epitome of the morally grey alpha who will burn the heavens and hells for his mate and it just gives all the feels! I love Jo and her snark. She may not have all her stuff together but she does a fine job making others think she does. She is fiercely loyal for someone who had few friends growing up.
Zachary Johnson voices Caius so well that it really is a bummer that he only has a few lines at the end of every chapter. Suzanne T. Fortin did a great job overall but sometimes I got lost between her character voice and the inner monologue. It was often confusing. But together they make a great pair. My only wish was that the audio was a duet rather than dual. Overall I love this series and I can’t wait to dive into book 3! Highly recommended!
Amazing as always
Keeps you right on the edge. I traded up many times in this book. Love it. I will keep on reading the next book.
