Good book and a good read the story is true and a part of our country’s history
Betty Zane
A wonderfully written story about the early settlers of the Ohio Valley. It describes the many dangers that they encountered as well as the many pleasures they experienced as they carved out the settlements of the frontier. The story is set on the banks of the Ohio river in the states of West Virginia, Ohio and Kentucky.
A fantastic read!!!
