Cian has been reborn, and his mother's promise is only an echo of the truth. Lou is caught in a tangle he needs magical scissors for, thanks to his brother, Xeno, who just doesn't want to let go of his position as King of the Prides. Then again, Xeno doesn't think he'll survive, anyway. After all, Lou is married to the wrong man, and for the Prides, blood makes the world go round.

The Prides collide in the beginning of the new battle, and Lou's limited choices have made Dante and Gio his frenemies, with Cian and Indigo Bonnie caught in the crossfire.
