Blindsided (After the Ink Dries #1)
Recently joined a reading group dedicated to lead female characters 30 years and older. Blindsided by JF Holland is the first book I elected to read from that group. And I picked a winner.
One of the most interesting aspects of a romance book, is how the author introduces the soon-to-be couple, here it's Maggie and Jerry. I truly like what the author did here, she took her time introducing or rather re-introducing the pair.
The reader is introduced to Maggie’s new group of friends and all of their shenanigans. Loved this circle of friends. After establishing the friends, Holland allows the couple to meet and their story begins. I really liked this couple as well as the other supporting characters Hayley , Ralphie and Gabe.
This book had the perfect amount of romance, humor, angst and hot sex, and I’m anxiously awaiting book #2, It takes Two.
