Terrific supernatural romance!
Intense, mysterious, sexy! Professor Maximus Kane is divine! Ungodly handsome, sex-on-legs studly with supernatural abilities. What is he? That's the burning question that plagues Max and the readers. The answer is fairly obvious but it takes until the end for the whole answer. Awesome! And what else is burning is the intense chemistry between the Professor and his student, the beautiful Kara. You know right from the start that she's a demon with more humanity than the Devil likes. Her future is set with serious consequences if she strays from her path. But what will happened? That's the question as she wants Max more that she wants to behave. The connection between Kara and Max is hot and steamy. They can't stay away from each other even if everyone is against them. Lots of mystery as the intensity builds to an explosive ending and a cliffhanger. Terrific writing, fabulous characters and a steamy romance in this enthralling supernatural story. Can't wait for the next installment!

I love that Maximus is a professor. I love a man who loves to read. The connection between Maximus and Kara is thrilling! I enjoy the feistiness in Kara.

I wasn’t sure what I expected from this story but, I was pleasantly surprised. Maximus and Kara held my interest as a couple (even though they shouldn’t get together but the attraction and pull were too much to deny). One knows what they are, while the other doesn’t have a clue. Mythology isn’t my go to genre but this one held my attention and leaves me wanting the next part as soon as possible.
