And she's got an 'in' with the creature that can make sense of the slayings-the sexy master vampire known as Jean-Claude.

Bloody and Intense
The bet of the Anita Blake series so far (of its predecessors I mean). So many twists and turns. Highly recommended.
Bloody Bones
This is a good story. Alot of twists and turns, some predictable others not at all. The main protagonist, Anita, is really likable despite herself, it's engaging the way she comes to appreciate and trust her student, Larry as the story progresses.
The repressed raw sexuality is compelling, especially the relationship with Jean-Claude. This is a light weight easy fun read. While reading, I kept thinking this would make a good movie in the same vein as Buffy, the Vampire Slayer.
Bloody Bones
Jean-Claude is Anita's VILF! After Bill Compton he is my #2 Vamp. Now I have to read the next book for the big night. The rest of the book is good too but at times I could not follow the plot and what was going on between all the bad guys. I am only reading this series for the Vampires.
I so have to say Anita, you feisty gal, you have grown on me. If they ever do a TV series, Selena Gomez in a few years will be great as Anita. I'm still thinking on J-C, someone French, has to be a real Frenchmen!
