Enjoyed it.
This story has a very interesting world building. I found the method of magic intriguing and liked the characters. Looking forward to book 2.
Born to Magic
Storyline was fairly predictable at a high level, however the writing was done decently enough that the reader would enjoy the story. It reads more like a very young YA. The author’s emphasis on the villain by using italics when mentioning drove me batty-bat crazy. I understand the intent behind it, yet it is very contrived.
Born to magic
