New Favorite Orwell Story

I’ve read a few of Orwell’s classics: Animal Farm, 1984, and so on, but Burmese Days stands (in my mind) as the best of his literature. The story is entirely enthralling, I can not remember a single point at which this book bored me in any way. For Orwell fanatics or casual readers alike, this is an understated gem.
