Cricket Ferguson has no need for men in her life. She's perfectly happy running the little French patisserie she started upon returning home to Bristol after a stint in pastry school in Paris and working at bakeries on the East Coast. That is, until the boy she wanted to marry shows back up in town on the arm of some famous Hollywood type, flaunting his fame and fortune and reminding her of the pain he caused when he went away all those years ago.

Second Chance at Love
Fletcher and Cricket where childhood sweethearts. Fletcher develops the bug to make it in Hollywood, and as much as Fletcher loved Cricket, he thinks he’s doing the right think by breaking up with her, only to break her heart. He goes off to Hollywood, she goes off to culinary school in Paris. Years later, he has struggled to get somewhere without luck, and when hired as a production assistant he thinks finally it has happened. Justine, the Producer, has no intention of showing him the toes - her only intention is to have her way with him - including on insisting on meetings being poolside with him only wearing loose swim trunks where she can run her hands underneath. Trying to ward her off he invents a fiancée who would not approve. Being vindictive Justine does her homework and surprises Fletcher that the movie premier will be in his hometown. Cricket, who can returned from Paris to open up a popular Patisserie will soon find herself face to face with the man who broke her heart. Loved how she stood up for him, and how they ultimately realized they needed to be together.
