Excellent read!!! I love the characters! The best friend sounds like mine; the main character sounds like me! This is the second book I’ve read by this author and her insight into each character has been solid and real. How one handles a stoic, distrusting character and a cranky, wealthy elder is also a real skill learned, and used proficiently, by the main character which is quite amusing!
Great writing but …
The storyline was great but the ending was left incomplete. I enjoy books that end with a happily ever after. This one was just stopped mid read….

What a ride! Poor Calamity is meandering through life and what a ride it takes her on! You laugh, cry, cringe and fall in love in this book..... but will it last. Not a fan of cliff hangers BUT this one has me hooked!
