A very small Amish community is the centerpiece of a long tradition of abuse of their women in their journey into adulthood blemished by the sexual acts forced upon them by so called respectable members of their community. Their behavior is something that occurs unfortunately too often. An excellent read by one of my favorite authors. My highest recommendation!!
Can you solve the mystery?
At the foot of the cross, there was level ground and as long as they looked to their Savior, His grace would always take them home.
Wow! This incredible book kept me guessing, trying to solve the mystery before Angus did. There was something questionable about Dr. Fisher, which I unfortunately figured out long before those who had experienced his chiropractic ways were prepared to talk about it. For Caleb, leaving the Amish had been the best choice, but would he have another chance with his parents and his missing sister, Rachel?
A story of forgiveness, second chances and learning to let God work things out for His purposes. An early copy of Angie Reid Mysteries Book 3 was received through Purpose Bound Press. These thoughts are my own and were in no way solicited.
