Good read
Suggest starting with book one in series. I’ve read the series and found it addictive Recommend. Written years ago but still one of the best dealing with WW II and Korea.
Good but could be much better
I'll start by saying I'm a fan and have read most of WEB's books. However, he is no Woulk or Clancy. My biggest complaints are: 1) The editors of his books are terrible you will find at least 3 editorial errors in all his books and 2) I believe these great stories too frequently get cut short, they leave me as a reader wondering why I spent 100 pages rehashing the last book and wishing there was 200 more to better tell and develop the story at hand.
Good book in a great series.
A great summer read.
A book about young people and love cast into the whirl wind of the Second World War, a time when people cared more about their country than themselves.
The small details about their life and times really bring their story and time to life.
