OBSESSED!!
My #1 book of 2020!!
What starts out as unrealistic dreams soon becomes an epic love story with flare! I loved this book so much and love that the dreams continue on through the book with a sort of prophecy and reflection!The world of Species and the character capabilities is amazing. Blake and Caly are an alpha couple to the core and their love for each other goes unmatched! The characters are so unique, yet so human that situations are real life relations. M.C. Solaris did a fantastic job of making the story come “full circle”.
MC Solaris has such a fresh take on PNR!
I loved this book! I was hooked from the beginning. Caly and Blake’s romance ticked all my boxes...steamy, loving and full of adventure. The women didn’t compete but instead lifted each other. The characters are fresh, young and modern and without spoiling anything, the concept of side by side worlds was so intriguing. There’s just enough darkness and strife which made the characters become more multidimensional. I was left wanting more info and page time for a few shifters and one particular vampire. I have to admit, I read it twice and loved it more the second time. Looking forward to book two!
Hot romance, great world development and beautiful story

First of all, I love a book with substance. A book that I’m not picking up and finishing in one sitting. There’s nothing worse than getting to the end of a book and thinking “darn, I wish there was more”. That is not this book. Calypso’s Heart delivers a delightfully hearty and engaging story.
M.C. Solaris writes a steamy romance, solid and very interesting plot, and creates amazing (and consistent) characters. Prompted by some recently weird dreams, Caly finds herself knee deep in a world she never knew existed. The interesting and captivating plot will keep you interested from the very beginning until the very end.
My only semi-issue with this book is that it was sometimes hard to follow the who/what/where in the story. The book lacked clear separation (visual or stated) between following one character to the next. But even this wasn’t enough for it to lose a star.
