Dark…
So dark, but oh sooooo good!!! If you have triggers this book is not for you. The story is tragic and depraved but it really delves into the human psyche. Very very good.

Idk what I was expecting- but… holy smokes.
If you’re coming here to see if it’s “really as dark as it says”. It IS. It’s dark, it’s messed up, it’s twisted…….
And I LOVED it. Don’t judge 🤷🏻♀️ or do. Whatever. Anyways- both (bc I don’t consider Gunnir a MC- he’s a pig) MC’s have super dark and jacked pasts but somehow there was a HEA out there for them. I mean, it that a little jacked - sure.. but hey. You get what you ask for with this one haha.
Lauren did a phenomenal job with the writing & story telling.
O got the happy ending she deserved.
One heck of a ride
I went into this blind and didn’t have a clue what I was walking into. But lord o mighty this book had me gripping my kindle so tight and racing to find out what happens. This was the best kind of train wreck.. Alex and O are perfect for one another. Both deeply broken and willing to fix one another. Now this isn’t for the faint of heart this book is very detailed in content. Triggers will probably be there for some but for me this was something I definitely didn’t know I needed to read and so glad I did. But I’ll never see mayonnaise the same way ever again. If you know you know!!! I applaud Lauren for bringing us this book that has us questioning everything lol
