There was more yet to come... great book!
So much going on and when you have almost finished the book, you are smiling and thinking how glad you are to have found this series, a cell phone quacks. What the? Another excellent book by Al Rennie. Thanks Al... starting the next in 5 minutes!

Thank you for keeping me entertained with your books. It makes the time go faster while I am getting treatments. It also gets my husband to ask about and talk about a million things. Every time I want to read, he wants to talk. Put a book down and he's back to doing his own thing. Goofy... and funny.

Each and every book in The Clearwater Series is a treasure trove of witty comebacks and one-liners. I have just finished re-reading Confession when I realized I had failed to give the author my feedback. My bad. Al Rennie is one of the most prolific writers I follow. And I follow his work faithfully, even now, impatiently waiting for December 2! Joe, Mia, kids, CHIPS are like a family visit. Great detail without overwhelming the reader. Just so you know, Mr. Rennie, I know that sentence is improper but it is also implied. So get over it, please. Reading the series in order is like watching a favorite television show, just can't wait to see what just another day in paradise might look like and what 'we have a plan' will go sideways. Spoiler alert, they almost always do, much to our enjoyment. And, kudos to his superb editors. He has developed, single handed mind you, a team of super vigilant editors. Just ask his Editor in Chief, Marsha Rennie. She will tell you. Thank you all very much. FIVE STARS.
