Clearwater Retirement
Another great read!!! As fast as Mr. Rennie writes, he can’t keep up with this voracious reader! My only complaint after 40 books in this series, is how everyone in Joe’s life takes advantage of his wealth! Do they even love him for him? And while his character definitely doesn’t come off as a “pushover”, he allows his employees and family to walk all over him, buying people cars, handing out “loans”, paying for colleges, paying a woman her full salary while she’s on maternity leave for her 5th or 6th pregnancy in as many years, and she only worked for him for maybe 6 months total before that! For some reason, this drives me crazy!! I just want Joe to be appreciated for all his generosity! But the books, in general, are so entertaining, you can’t put them down. You won’t regret buying it, ever!!!
Clearwater Cowboy
I’d like to thank Al Rennie for again writing a book that I have not only looked forward to reading but again will be on pins and needles waiting for the next one to take me on a journey into the lives of the Joe Holiday camp and the “CHiPs” crew. I get so involved in the characters lives that I get weepy when one passes away, and overjoyed when a new marriage or new baby is introduced to the Clearwater family.
I would also like to wish Mr. Rennie well in his health issues and to let him know that I will be waiting for his next book, and will read whatever he writes.
Sincerely,
Cindyb
Giddy Up-Go!
The exciting world of Florida living, private investigators, babies, missing toddlers, horse racing-need I go on? “Just another romp in paradise,” a favorite comment as related to the Clearwater Series, as written by an outstanding storyteller and author, Al Rennie. Never a miss when reading these books, never. It has to be hard to continue to entertain and amuse his reading public, but Mr. Rennie makes it seem effortless with a continuity that is impressive. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Am anxiously awaiting the next “family and friends” update on those rascals from Florida. Thank You, and write on, kind sir!
