Publisher Description
My name is Nadia, and I'm an errand girl.
Except my boss is the High Queen of the Elves.
And my errands for her involve spying on people. Or stealing things. Or hunting down monsters. Or, on occasion, killing people.
But this time she wants me to solve a murder.
And unless I find the killer, I'm going to be his next target…because dragons never forgive a murder.

Couldn’t put this book down
This is an intriguing romp through a future Earth where humans and elves live in an unsteady alliance against other dark forces. The protagonist is a fascinating woman with magical powers fighting for the “good guys” headed by their elfin queen. Together with her husband they engage in almost nonstop fighting while trying to solve a whodunnit. You will find yourself reading this nonstop!
Cloak of Dragons! What a ride!
A detective story style intro followed by a roller coaster romp blending genres of literature replete with adventure, humor, and a thoroughly engaging plot and delightful characters. What more could a reader ask for?
Why, the next story of course!
This story set in the second arc of tales in the Cloak Games setting is just as much fun as the first set of stories and then some. The setting expands, and the history and driving motivations gain greater depth and texture. Most of all, Nadia is still Nadia and sharing her exploits just keeps getting better. Good read, and a whole lot of fun.
Solid story and writing!
Finally, a free book that's good! (It's been awhile.) Well written, and definitely leaves a good enough feeling that I will seriously consider paying my hard earned money on more books by this author. I like your switching of the pov, it was skillfully done. Other authors have trouble writing from a pov that is not their sex, but I bought into Nadia easily. ;-D
