Customer Reviews
Engaging despite lacking an editor
As with all the previous books in this series, there are still constant grammatical errors, lack of proper punctuation, completely missing words and/or incorrect usage, character names getting swapped, and the occasional continuity error, yet this series is still enjoyable to read. Thad’s internal struggles and external pressures involving the opposite gender have always been a bit exasperating to witness, but it doesn’t fully detract from the storyline overall. Seeing how much his power has grown, as well as his creativity in using it, has been a treat however. It’s also neat to not only see how similar his son Bren is to his father, but how different as well. I look forward to finding out what happens in the future of the series. In summary, don’t let the absence of editing keep you from trying this series. I simply pause to mentally correct the problematic bits and then move on.
Needs a good copy editor.
The storyline and writing style are okay, but extremely irritating with the numerous copy editing oversights. Incorrect word choice numerous times. Character names of Bren and his father often used incorrectly/interchangeably.
Horrible Editing
Errors are far too distracting. Pity the author doesn’t care enough to edit and update. I certainly will ignore anything from this writer in the future.
