Could you solve your own murder?
When Rhys Evans agrees to house-sit for his uncle, the last thing he expects is to find a strange girl hiding in the greenhouse. A girl with no memory of her past and no chance at a future unless he helps her.
A freak of nature has given Coco a second chance at life, but before she can live it, she needs to find out who she is and where she came from. The answers aren't quite what either of them were expecting...
Coco du Ciel is a standalone romantic suspense novel with magical realism elements - no cliffhanger!

A girl who remembers nothing, a boy who wants to help
Rhys is the kind of guy you wanna take home and marry. Even though his ex cheated on him, his roommates are slime, and he’s had a rough life, he’s still a decent guy who works hard, avoids the party/slacker trap of university, is creative and smart enough to create his own apps, and is saving money to travel after Uni.
So it’s a good thing that when Rhys’ great uncle, his only living relative, asks Rhys to come house sit in his country home (which ends up being a fairly full time job, what with all the precise directions for the care and feeding of every plant imaginable in in his near endless conservatory - the musical reminders are the best- ) ...it’s a Very Good Thing that Rhys is the one to find the mysterious girl. In his uncle’s conservatory. Beautiful. With no memory, not even her name. And found in the oddest place. It’s almost as if.. but no, surely not. I mean, there’s always a rational explanation. And thus begins the search. Because Rhys is good guy. And who else is going to take care of this girl? Certainly not the uninterested and unhelpful cop playing cards on her computer.
Funny and captivating
Coco du Ciel doesn't have a definite genre. The author's inspiration exploits a paranormal lead to soar freely and create an intriguing, captivating story that is a pleasure to read.
The plot is fast-paced and twisted, keeping the reader engaged at all times. The characters are well defined, each one of them with a three-dimensional stance evoking diverse emotions. Coco, Rhys, Remi, Celine, and the entire cast of characters will entertain, move and intrigue the readers taking them on a journey that will leave them smiling.
Despite the seriousness of some parts of the narration, the tone is always light and, at times, ironic, making Coco di Ciel a perfect summer read.
Highly recommended!!
Mystery, adventure, love. This book has it all! Every time I read an Elise Noble book, I’m so sad when it ends, I can never get enough of the characters! I really enjoyed Coco Du Ciel! From trying finding out who Coco is, and where she came from to adventures in France, to finding out the truth, everything! Great read, well written, and a great story.
