Colonel Stern

Colonel Sarah Stern heads up the Israeli "Ministry for State Security", a "black ops" group that officially does not exist. With the assistance of Ben Hunter, her father, Sarah leads the two of them along a path of hideous, brutal repression against any group or individual whose intentions may be to upset the peace and well-being of her country. By human standards, Sarah would clinically be described as an amoral psychopath while Ben would be close on her heels in this respect. This is because neither of them is exactly human. The entity that would later, in the 20th century be known as Sarah, adopted the human form and since it was dominant, the other one, to be known as Ben, followed along. This is the first book of a trilogy featuring Sarah and Ben.
