Publisher Description

The colonel has been forced to put most of her numerous enterprises, legit or otherwise on the back burner in order to cope with a problem one of her Gemela personas had engendered some twenty millennia ago. In a fit of pique, Garla/Sarah had imprisoned Samhain, Lord of the Dead, in a mystical enclosure just as the demi-god made his appearance among men on his Hallowed Eve. During the latter decades of the 20th Century, Sarah finally realized that Samhain had been exacting vengeance on her for several hundred years, starting with the Glen Coe massacre in the 17th Century, when Carolyn/Sarah lost her baby and husband to the Clan Campbell. Sarah and Ben are hardly back in Israel when she discovers Freddy the Bomber is stalking her again. Sarah assigns Ben the task of diverting Freddy's interests elsewhere. Swayed by Ben's promises of easy access to Sarah's body, Freddy journey's to Mecca and with a powerful explosive provided by Ben, proceeds to blow up the Holy Kaaba, along with vast numbers of pilgrims.
