Excellent must read book
The first book in a new time travel series, Waters of Time, Come Back to Me is full of suspense, romance, danger and intrigue. The main character, Marian slips back into the year 1381 where she meets a knight Will. Will rescues Marian and offers her protection as his wife. The romance between the two will leave you swooning. Marian now faces a dilemma, does she stay in 1381 or go back to the present. I so loved this story and can not wait for the next one. I felt so engaged with the characters and couldn’t wait to see how their stories unfolded.

Loved It!
This book was amazing! I am a huge Jody Hedlund fan, so I couldn’t wait for this book to come out. I was not disappointed, as this book is like no other. This is a time-travel book in which the main character, Marian, crosses from present day to 1381. Both eras are filled with action and tension, for different reasons. In present day, Marian’s father has fallen into a coma, and her life is in danger due to the research her father had been working on to find holy water from the Tree of Life. In 1381 there is unrest and rebellion, putting Marian in severe danger. This author does so much research when she writes her books, and it shows in the extraordinary details she weaves throughout the story. I especially appreciated that this book was faith based, as the main character leaned on God during her trials.
Amazing time slip story
Amazing, thought provoking, Christian, historical, romance! Come Back to me is, hold you in your seat, good. Marian is a scientist, trying to find a cure for her sister’s genetic disease. Her father, also a scientist, thinks he is on to the ultimate cure. In the beginning you might think this is going to be a sweet contemporary romance. Nope! Jody Hedlund has the most incredible imagination and she is able to craft it into the most interesting stories. Time slip to the early 1300’s. Handsome knights, battlefield and religious conflicts, large manors with secret passageways, and of course a beautiful maiden in distress. I highly recommend this to anyone 16 and up. And there will be a book 2!! Im so excited!
