I love this author
I love her books. They are so intriguing. Keeps me attention from start to finish. No books can hardly do that. Makes me want to read them all.
How can I day this...
I liked Joel and Sarah’s relationship although I feel it was rushed. The blackmail was definitely over stretched and it did not help that they didn’t even get punished for it. It’s sad that while Sarah was silently asking for help, they just went on having sex without communicating. The plot definitely needs polishing, however I can’t deny that I enjoyed the quick story.

The beginning of Sarah and Joel’s relationship was fine starting out with the bet and Sarah doing the chores except the way Joel had Sarah exposed to other people in the neighborhood with cleaning the window. Especially having her cuffed outside at the backyard where it was easy for people to take advantage of if they saw and tried, which “Sir” actually did. I didn’t like how she had to do things she didn’t want because of being blackmailed. Even if the situation was solved, “Sir” and his accomplice didn’t really get any punishment for what they were doing and Sarah would still have men at her building see her in the wrong way, also other men from that shop. Who knows where they’ll end up meeting. The only thing I liked was the way Joel solved the blackmailed problem right after he learned about it.
