Wow!
This is the follow up to Starke's original book in the series, Conflicted Interest. There isn't an easy path for Audrey and Theo to come back together after their rupture at the end of the first book, but fate weaves them back together anyway. Not without them working hard and struggling for it first. But they eventually get there and it is sweet.
Loved e first book and highly recommend
I didn't have any expectations and certainly didn't expect to be taken in by a world of bankers,billionaires and jet setters. I was looking for a series with a heroine that was on her way in her career. Audrey was unlike other characters I've read. She has a messy past but the will to move beyond it made her special. Her friends seem to make up her family and we only get a few nuggets about her real family. Theo the hero is tricky as you want to love him but his missteps and miscommunication make you nuts. In a good way of course. Steamy rating 8 out of 10. Perfect for me. I heights recommend it

Buying a romance novel from a debut author is always “iffy”; so many disappoint – Conflicted Interest did not! I plowed through the book in one day, staying up much later than I intended to. Set in Athens, Istanbul, London, and New York City, the main characters, Audrey and Theo, navigate the delicacies of a developing romance, the cut-throat world of financial business intrigues, and the influences of past life circumstances. Audrey and Theo….sigh!
