Brilliant
Shattering. And Sagan is SUCH a beautiful writer. I had not expected to be bawling my eyeballs out at the end… but I was. Loved this book like crazy!
The movie is better.
A rare instance where the movie is better than the book. Carl Sagan am incredible visionary and writer...but the movie much preferred.
Not As Good As Film
This book was a complete disappointment. I had seen the film, and I hoped it would be an expanded interesting engagement of the plot line and an explorations of science and faith. Not so. Worse yet, 90% of the book is length telling, rather than showing, by the author, making for a boring read. Highly recommend against this book.
