An Amazing Story
Prepare to be immersed into 1107AD Normandie as Anna Markland tells an amazing story of two people meant for each other. Izzy de Montbryce was descended from some of the best warriors who were legendary and it was in his blood. When he is develops a debilitating disease that affects his hands, he tries to make the best of it and continue on.
But when his uncle comes home to die and brings an exotic beauty with him, he cannot seem to take his eyes off her. Farrah has many secrets and she could actually heal Izzy of his problems. As the two spend time together they feel a strong pull toward each other.
Will Farrah heal Izzy and can they come to love each other? This was a wonderful story as only Anna Markland can tell with her amazing Montbryce family. An adventure that will keep you turning the pages, be prepare to be held captive until the end. Although this can be read as a standalone, trust me, you want to read them all!! (ps doesn't she have the best book covers?)
IT’S WHAT’S ON THE INSIDE THAT COUNTS!!
It’s what on the inside that counts! You will understand what I a talking about when you read Crescendo by Anna Markland, book 8 in The Montbryce Legacy Anniversary Edition and you MUST read this book. This medieval romance can be read as a standalone but I highly recommend you read the whole series as it is just wonderful and a tad steamy without over doing it. Anna’s talent for writing and her imagination are both simply amazing and you will not read anything like this. Her descriptions are truly impressive and detailed so you really do get to see the whole picture in your mind. Anna has gone up and beyond with her wonderful characters. Izzy and Farah’s story of pain and suffering is something that most of us can relate to especially as we grow older. This story has pain, suffering, embarrassment, pride, death, family love, evil, rescue, a pilgrimage, healing, sacrifice, a trap, a new brother’s love, hard work, acceptance, greed, forgiveness and love at first sight. I can’t say enough about this book and I highly recommend you read this story or any of Anna Markland’s books, you won’t be disappointed!
