A Wonderful Story
Can two brothers actually find love while at war? Hugh Montbryce and his brother Antoine are given lands and estates by their brother Ram who was awarded a hugh boon from his support of the King, William the Conqueror. Visiting once such holding Hugh comes upon Renouf de Malbadon who has forced his wife and family into servitude to him. Hugh has immediate feelings for Devona, Renoulf's wife, and against what he knows can be a deadly move to him, rescues her and her siblings. But Hugh has secrets of his own. Antoine, Hugh's brother seizes a castle held by the enemy and kills that warrior who is master. But he finds the old man's young wife expecting a child and takes her into his custody or she would be killed.
