Publisher Description
Set in a medieval world where survival of the fittest is a stark reality, the Montbryce Legacy must defy a gripping secret.
Two heroic half-brothers with unique differences
Cruelly ridiculed as a deaf giant and an undesirable dwarf, Adam de Montbryce and his half-brother, Denis de Sancerre, are beleaguered knights who have forged an unbreakable bond in a ruthless world that scorns their physical impairments.
Beauty Seen by Open Hearts
Two shunned sisters locked away in shame by their evil mother discover that true love is possible when a twist of fate demands a special kind of chivalrous rescue.
Can misunderstood outcasts learn to trust Destiny when true love is at stake?
"Two loyal brothers must cope with afflictions that render them unmarriageable and, in their minds, unfit for love. Two sisters, also afflicted and locked in the attic of a manor home their entire lives, cope with freedom and, in their minds, the undeserved love offered them by these noble men. The story takes an unusual and heart-touching approach to the stories of these four people, then weaves it with a tale of court intrigue and malicious intentions that has readers sitting on the edge of their seats in fear for the lives of these endearing characters." Connie Flynn, author of The Dragon Hour.

This is such a heartwarming story full of strong family ties as well as misunderstandings of physical challenges at this time in history. Compelling characters who bring you into their feelings and take you on their journey of discovery. Can happiness be found?
In the usual Anna Markland fashion with her wonderful prose, you will be taken into 1100 AD Normandie and experience the history and social norms of that time. Prepare to pulled in until the last page is turned....
