Crime and Punishment

Crime and Punishment is a psychological novel written by Russian author Fyodor Dostoevsky. It was first published in the magazine The Russian Messenger in 1866, into twelve pieces, and later published as a novel.


Along with War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy, is considered that the novel is one of the most influential international and Russian literature. Also, the dialogues between the protagonist, Raskolnikov, and the police inspector, are considered by some authors as the prestigious writer Stefan Zweig, one of the peaks of world literature.
