Huge Twist in the Series
I love the characters in this book and the twist within it for the breeds saga. However the end of the book feels incomplete, Katy’s story is left hanging with no closure. It feels like the second half of the book was for the new twist in the series and had little to do with the romance between Dane and Katy.
I am very disappointed that Lora left so much out of this book. It feels like a part 1 of 2 books. If that is the case, the second book info should be made clear and published as soon as possible. Honestly, the book should have continued to complete the main character story. We waited YEARS for this book and to have the story be left hanging is unfair to her dedicated fans.
Dane?
I am an avid fan of Lora’s breed series and have been looking forward to Dane’s love story. In her previous books, Dane had been built up as a complex character. Someone who is a friend to many, but someone who plays many hands. I was expecting his character to have more of an internal struggle with his love for harmony and this new heroine. I wanted to know more about the details behind his evolution and how his father had a large part in manipulating him and harmony apart.
I was disappointed to see how meek he was in this love dynamic. In addition I expected more interaction between his family and his mate.
I did think that Lora use Dane’s relationship to build a string of new characters and story line, but I would like to see her complete the characters of those unfinished before heading in a new direction.
This breed story did not stand out to me.
