Keeps the mystery and tension alive
Whit, a private investigator, is branching out with Anna, his former teaching assistant, to form their own investigation agency after solving the case of her mother’s blackmailer. As the story progresses a new case lands in their lap, small town mentality prevails, and the culprit could be closer than they think. W.L. Knightly keeps the mystery and tension alive in Dare to be Wise. Whit and Anna are on quite the journey and I enjoy being along for the ride.
I received a free copy of the book from the author. I had the opportunity to review or not.
Dare To Be Wise
Whit and Anna have a new client in a small town where everyone knows everyone. The woman is upset because her son has been missing and the sheriff is not willing to do anything about it. Her ex husband is the mayor and he has everyone convinced his son just left town. Whit and Anna have to deal with the local sheriff and mayor not wanting them there and the fact there is more to the case than what was originally told. This fast paced thriller has suspense, a serial killer, death, and so much more. This was well written and kept me turning the pages trying to figure out who the killer was.
