A great reminder of the power in second chances
I loved the way JA Owenby harmonized a strong female character with a protective male figure. This books reminded me that I can be strong and confident while also letting my guard down enough to heal from my past.

***** 5 stars emotional, heart pounding, edge of your seat, mind blowing, can’t read fast enough. I read this all the way thru, then had to go back and read again it was that good. I cried , I laughed, then cried some more. I love Tensley, she is one tough young lady, Owenby writes characters that you can’t help but cheer for.
Mind Blown!
I’m not saying my upbringing was anywhere near that of the heroine’s, but the author has clearly been dragged, unwillingly down a similar path at some point that I have - but I’ve never been able to verbalize it, much less craft an amazing, insightful novel.
Bravo!!!!!
