A school for Witchlings...
The ultimate choice between Light and Dark...
Where the price of a mistake...is your soul.
Sixteen-year-old Summer doesn’t expect her new boarding school to be any different than the rest: a temporary stay, until her uncontrollable magic gets her thrown out again. In her mind, there’s no point in getting too friendly with anyone. That is, until she notices Decker, the boy who will become the Master of Night and Fire on his eighteenth birthday.
When she learns that this special school has attracted others with magic in their blood, she is hopeful that this time around, things may be different. Besides, she can’t deny her interest in Decker, and when he rescues her one night from the dark forests of the Rocky Mountains, their connection is instant.
Yet a relationship with Decker may prove to be Summer’s downfall, forcing her to choose between Light and Dark, life and death, love – and their souls.
One choice. One soul. One price.

Captivating Read
This book has a right amount of paranormal and just the right amount to be grounded. The plot is interesting in a sense I've never read anything quite like it, it has no similarities to the books I've read that I can compare too. It's not your typical read I was captivated at once by the female lead and her past history being so unhappy for her, than hoping to find happiness in her new home you get the evil mean girl most women can say they have had at least once in their life. Even through all the turmoils she has gone through, her romance with the male lead is one the reader will feel so connected and blissful about in every-way possible. She is kind hearted and tries to look on the upside despite her upbringing and mean girl cruelty thrown at her continuously she became an instant favorite of mine. The male lead was captivating in all essence of his character, he is the dark and mysterious powerful and dominating. Through his female counterpart he is fiercely protective and justice. His story is so intriguing as a reader I found myself hanging on to his every move hoping for the best for he was lovable and deserved his happiness. The supporting characters were amazing and supportive of the leads encouraging and protective, I must congress to loving the mean girl action it made the story seem that much more real for me personally for its so true in reality. Horrible cliffhanger be forewarned and buy the next book at the same time
