Publisher Description
Her quest to repair what's been broken leads to imminent danger--and soon it's more than her own life on the line.
After accidentally destroying the intricately carved chalice her people have treasured for over a hundred years, Charlotte Durand sets out in search of a skilled artisan who can repair the damage. What she expected to be a two-day trek becomes much more daunting when a treacherous snowstorm sets in.
Searching for solitude and respite from his troubling past, the last thing Damien Levette needs in the middle of a mountain blizzard is to tend to another person, but he can't leave behind the mysterious woman he finds half frozen at the edge of a mountain lake.
As they battle both the elements and their distrust of each other, Charlotte and Damien must work together to survive the peril of the mountains--or it could be the downfall of them both.

Charlotte and Damien
This was a great story! Third in the Laurent series…I’ve loved them all but I think this one is my favorite. I’ve said that about all Misty Bellers books. They grab your attention from start to finish. This is Charlotte and Damien’s story…Charlotte breaks a Laurent heirloom and wants to fix it before anyone finds out. But she has to travel to a village to get it fixed. On the way a blizzard comes and Damien finds her. Then the adventure begins. You’ll love it!
They both needed grace.
A damaged chalice brought so much more than ever expected. God’s hand had woven their paths seamlessly, beginning with their ancestors and all the way to this present day. Were they ready to accept all that He had to offer?
The author has given us another look at the lovely village of Laurent from it’s place in the Rocky Mountains of Canada. The amazing detail had me shivering, wanting to cry out a warning and almost holding my breath. As she unwisely leaves the shelter of her village in hopes of finding someone to repair the chalice accidentally damaged, Charlotte is unprepared for what she experiences. A blizzard, thin ice, wolves and even a bear were just some of the dangers met in her unwise attempt. With the help of a lone stranger, will she find her way safely home?
