TJMN Day Trip 1: Transmountain Road

The Day Trip Series is designed to guide Junior Master Naturalists in the El Paso Texas (Trans Pecos Chapter) area on simple explorations of the area that are easy to get to and full of exiting historical, geological and biological experiences. 


There are six books in the series:

This is the first book in the series: Day trip 1: Transmountain Road. 

Transmountain Road is one of the most interesting roads in all of Texas, and contains a trip back and through time. Both historical and scientifically interesting, Transmountain Road has some of the oldest exposed rock in Texas
