What a treat!
Not only this is a great story, but the English used is simply a pleasure to read. Yes, a dictionary must be in hand at times, but when one fully understands sentence after sentence a feeling of discovering a treasure engulfs the reader. Run away from main stream easy to read novels and read this novella, you will gain enormously from it.
