Designing for Understanding

Welcome to Designing for Understanding: a book written to give busy teachers a series of tools and use cases for creating and implementing effective design materials for learning. It’s not about making things look pretty per se, but rather looking at the functionality of aesthetics. It’s all about the small decisions you make and how they work together to impact your students’ understanding of the material you’re sharing. Designing for Understanding is just another way to answer the question: “How can I best present materials to help them understand my message?”
