There's no offer for her to refuse ...
Kat Makris was a little girl when her father spun wild and outrageous bedtime stories about Baboulas, the Greek boogeyman, a lawless creature with a penchant for stealing gold and clashing with the gods.
Now Kat is twenty-eight, single, a couch potato in a cube farm, when her father goes missing. Without him, she's alone in the world. Before the police can work their mojo, she herself is abducted by a couple of hoods with crooked noses, and she quickly discovers her father's old stories were true—true crime, that is. Baboulas is an infamous mob boss in Greece, and Baboulas is the one who has Kat holed up in a private plane bound for Greece.
Now, to find her father, Kat must face the boogeyman …
Somewhere between Stephanie Plum and Michael Corleone you'll find Kat Makris. DISORGANIZED CRIME is a humorous look at family—and Family.

Disorganized Crime
Kat Makris's only family is her father. Then she comes home to be informed that he has been escorted out of their home by men whose description screams mob. Before she has time to process this, she has a lot more to process. She finds herself far from the familiar rainy landscape of Portland. She has been whisked away to Greece to meet family she never knew existed. But that isn't the only secret they have to share with her. Will she survive all these revelations?
What an interesting ride. An editor could have helped this book a lot, since words were frequently missing or misused. Assuming the Greek words were correct, one can pick up some curse words and names of foods to try.
Disorganized Crime
I loved t humorous & incredibly imaginative descriptions t author uses. I enjoyed her humor. But I was disappointed with t way she ended ( or rather did not end) this story. Did not realize this book was one of a series until I stumbled into t last page.
No ending
Very entertaining, but had no end
