Doc Savage and The Shadow in action together!
What an excellent book! The action was non-stop with many twists and turns. The description of The Shadow was superb in every way.
I really enjoyed the writing style. It’s also a great vocabulary builder, taking you back to the 1930s when most readers had a better vocabulary than found today. The “look up“ feature on Apple Books was very helpful. The writing was completely devoid of the political correctness found in most other modern writing. For example, the author will use the word “man“ when he means man, instead of the more politically correct “people“.
A very engaging story accurately told by an efficient and clever writer. If you’re in the mood for an exciting, action packed book look no further. After finishing the electronic book, I had to have a hard copy for my library. Now I have it in both formats.
