They have invested billions of rupees in CNG sector for establishing CNG filling stations, CNG conversion centres and CNG kits and their spare parts selling and marketing. Besides, the motorists have also spent billions of rupees in the installation of CNG conversion kits in their vehicles. They are asking the government to stick to the policy of maintaining a reasonable difference in the prices of petrol and CNG under 1994 petroleum policy to make the later 50 percent cheaper fuel than motor gasoline for motorists.
