Don’t Stop Me
I think this has the makings of a really good series. However, I felt like this first was almost bit of a cliffhanger. I’m not a fan of those in any series.
Abrupt ending, does not feel finished
The book ends very abruptly, without tying up some of the questions. It feels like it needs several more chapters.
More minor, the author would repeat some phrases over and over again, which felt annoying after the first one to two dozen times - for example, the guy always saying how scared he feels.
Interesting
A very interesting dialogue in this book with good characters. I thought John should’ve been in the forefront more. A good kid and he was in the background way too much. And if Vic wouldn’t say “I don’t get to order you” anymore, I would have tossed it, how ridiculous that he said it so often, like he was trying to convince himself. I thought the ending was a little rushed and the reporter and the Ari angle was left hanging.
