THE FIRST NOVEL IN THE NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING ELDER RACES SERIES!
Half-human and half-wyr, Pia Giovanni spent her life keeping a low profile among the wyrkind and avoiding the continuing conflict between them and their Dark Fae enemies. But after being blackmailed into stealing a coin from the hoard of a dragon, Pia finds herself targeted by one of the most powerful—and passionate—of the Elder races.
As the most feared and respected of the wyrkind, Dragos Cuelebre cannot believe someone had the audacity to steal from him, much less succeed. And when he catches the thief, Dragos spares her life, claiming her as his own to further explore the desire they’ve ignited in each other.
Pia knows she must repay Dragos for her trespass, but refuses to become his slave—although she cannot deny wanting him, body and soul...

Overall great plot
I did overall really like this story and I spent most of my Saturday binge reading it. The main complaint was frequently the dialogue between characters became really immature and childish. Had quite a bit of cringe factor at times that had to be ignored to enjoy the story. Although I couldn’t put this one down it is for this reason that I am not going to continue with the series.
Dreamy
I’ve always loved this book. I read it yearrrrss ago and still love it now
Wonderful!
I very much enjoyed this story. A perfect steamy engaging story and characters that made me chuckle a few times. I read it in a day and I’m so sad it’s already over. Definitely will continue the series!
